dual core processor

Will the freelancer server will able to run on the dual core processor or not.

Yes it will. However, it does not take advantage of the 2nd core directly.
The advantage to a dual-(core/processor) setup for FLServer is that you can have other programs (AV, firewall, FLStat, etc.) running on one core/processor and IFSO & FLServer running on the other.

Yeah, right. A dual-core prozessor wont make FL faster, but the performance with multiple programms running will be better

note: several 64bit processor types create problems with tools like FLshell and some others (while FL is running fine)

so if some of you think about upgrading your hardware you should check if those tools are running on those machines... (dont only check if FL is running)
