ok i used to host a fl server have lots of people, blah blah blah. and i bought a new computer, well after i tryed to install it again and it says that im missing a cambrdge music file. is there a way i can repleace that file? or do a workaround?

PLEASE HELP A FL FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a problem with the disc. I'm guessing you tried a bunch of times and it still fails at the same point?
Do you know which file it is?

thats exactley it,im at my friends now and when i get home i can tell you, but its something like cambridge music. if i tell you can you give me the file or something?

Download and install the SDK file. It tends to fix missing files. Failing this, I say uninstall FL, delete the folder, then reinstall it.

Seeing as how you can't play the game without the file and i doubt that it would really be against the forum rules, i could send it to you. You will clearly need the game to play anyway so i don't see it as a hack or anything.
The file name is:
music_cambridge.wav
and it goes into the:
Microsoft Games\Freelancer\DATA\AUDIO\MUSIC\
..folder. I'm not sure if it will help but we can give it a go. Sends file to email address..
