Q on racing mission.

Im stuck on the mission where you have to race they guy to get info on Quintaine... Whenever I get to the racing gates my ship moves around by itself and almost always hits the gate...

Then go to manual. You can't expect your ship to do everything for you...
Make sure you're in "free flight" mode and using "mouse flight". Engage "cruise" by pressing shift+w
